EAGLE FLIGHT From the end the Gulf War in 1991 to 1996, US Army Aviation provided security and comfort to refugees in the "No-Fly-Zone" of northern Iraq. FREEDOM'S FRONTIER Observation Post Alpha was one of the three OP's belonging to the elite 11th Armored Cavalry Regiment stationed on the former "Iron Curtain" between East and West Germany. The scene shows OP Alpha with Blackhorse troopers and East German soldiers enduring winter on the Fulda Gap at the OP.
